Public against Private Education

Public schools are demanded to work for a min of 180 days to satisfy the compulsory attendance law of the state. Private schools are allowed to sustain compliance with just 170 days. Besides, the teachers of the public schools, by law, should be used for 16 days out of the school term. No analogous demand exists for any private school.

Public schools are banned by the State Constitution from giving state inhabitants any kind of tuition or some other fees for supplies, materials, transportation, or textbooks. Many private schools usually impose fees besides tuition.

The teachers of public schools are demanded to have college degrees and to be qualified by the state. On the contrary, private schools have no staff demands other than their own.

In addition, public schools should accept any local student who asks for admission, in spite of sex, race, economic status, religious affiliation, or physical and mental handicap. Private schools may be choosy in selecting their students.

The right of the students of a public school pursuing a free education is assured by the State Constitution, so a student may not behavior in a manner, which removes or restricts that right with no being afforded owing process of law. A private school is not subject to the requirements and can reject any student whose activities are not favorable to the process of learning.
